Meredith DiPaulo Stephens

Meredith DiPaolo Stephens, previously assistant managing director of the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival and managing and producing artistic director of Shared Radiance Theatre, is the founding producing artistic director of Goodly Frame Theatre ( Meredith’s extensive training in Shakespeare’s language and performance includes work at UNC Greensboro (BA), Oxford University, Harvard, Shakespeare Lives!, the American Shakespeare Center, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London.​ In addition to her work with Goodly Frame Theatre, Meredith has been teaching theatre and English since 1991. Her recent acting credits include The Taming of the Shrew (Antonio), Richard II (Duchess of Gloucester), An Old Salem Christmas Carol (Ebenezer Scrooge), Macbeth (Banquo), Twelfth Night (Feste), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania/Hippolyta); recent directing credits include Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Meredith lives in Greensboro with her husband, her youngest of four children, and her loveable but not overly smart doggo, Henry.
