Dan Beckmann

Dan Beckmann is an award-winning landscape, nature and portrait photographer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has more recently hung his lenses in New York City and has spent several years touring (and photographing) the wide old world while he worked as a singer on cruise ships. He would recommend this side hustle to anyone who can sing a Low A to high Bb and wants to get away from their families for six to ten months. To him, photography provides an equal but opposite avenue of expression from performance — an opportunity to capture what is in front of you as it already exists; to expose honesty and natural beauty as it really is; to bottle inner peace in a single blink of time.

He also enjoys eating. Maybe too much.
