Varying Applications to Live Sound Mixing
Moderated by Liz May
Featuring Danny Slaughter, Liquid 5th, and Kyle Welch
Join this team of live sound engineers as they compare and contrast their approaches to live sound in their unique roles as a front of house engineer. Their experiences range from rock & roll to symphony orchestra to a cappella and everything in between. This interactive panel will take questions and comments from participants and will be answered in real time. We will focus topics on their different approaches to prep, mic application, workflow, profile set up, and mixing techniques. We will also talk about the challenges the industry is facing and how they have adapted.
